Whether helping a policyholder recover insurance proceeds to repair their property, helping an injured person, or settling a dispute between a landlord and a tenant, James prides himself in advocating for his clients in the pursuit to bring them a fair and just result.
During his practice, James was selected to the prestigious Houston Young Lawyer Association’s (HYLA) Leadership Academy. The mission of HYLA’s Leadership Academy is to prepare young attorneys for leadership roles in HYLA and other organizations through a service-oriented leadership training program. During the tenure of the Academy, members will have the chance to practice and develop their leadership skills while working together to develop and execute a service project designed to leave a lasting impact on both the Academy members and the community.
Applicants are selected based on several criteria including leadership skills, abilities, and potential; achievements and accomplishments; and community and bar involvement.

Prior to his transition into representation of injured people and underpaid policyholders, James practiced at a prestigious real estate litigation firm. His experience allowed him to develop and excel in litigation tactics and successful resolution strategies for his clients.
A dedicated Houstonian, James is a big University of Houston supporter. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Houston and has developed a reputation as an excellent writer. He also minored in Biology and is well positioned to handle and evaluate the medical aspects of cases.
